The Build Process
Join us on our journey behind the scenes of crafting our power catamaran boat, where precision meets passion.

Design, Planning & Hull Construction, Framing & Skeleton
The journey began as many great projects do—with a simple idea. A vision for a new luxury catamaran, sketched on a napkin and brought to life from a combined 60 years of marine experience.
From the outset, the goal was clear: to create a catamaran inspired by the timeless elegance of 1930s yachts. The tumblehome transom became the defining first step, redefining how a modern catamaran should look—refined, balanced, with unmistakably classic lines.
Working closely with naval architects, our team developed a blueprint that harmoniously blends performance with sophisticated aesthetics.
This vision is then realized by skilled craftsmen who construct the initial molds, laying the foundation for precision and excellence. Each hull is meticulously engineered to optimize hydrodynamics while delivering exceptional structural integrity.

As construction advances, the vessel’s structural framework takes shape—forming the backbone of the boat and providing strength, rigidity, and long-term durability. Built using state-of-the-art composite materials and an advanced resin-infused process, the KUSH Catamaran sets a new benchmark in performance and reliability. Unlike traditional construction methods, this process ensures precise resin distribution throughout the composite structure, achieving uniform saturation and superior structural cohesion.

By carefully controlling the resin-to-fiber ratio, excess weight is eliminated without compromising strength. The result is a lightweight yet robust hull that enhances speed, maneuverability, and fuel efficiency—delivering greater range, smoother handling, and confident performance in demanding marine environments. Every detail is intentionally engineered to provide a refined, elevated, and exceptional boating experience.

Wiring & Systems Integration, Deck & Superstructure Assembly
Expert electricians integrate advanced electrical systems, navigation equipment, and onboard technology to ensure seamless performance throughout the vessel.
The deck and superstructure are meticulously assembled, forming the boat’s exterior with precision and care. Every detail is thoughtfully executed to achieve a flawless finish.
Enhancing functionality further, the EZ Anchor System transforms the anchoring experience by eliminating tangled lines through innovative design features such as dedicated compartments, guided pathways, and automatic tensioning. The result is safer, smoother deployment and retrieval—delivering confidence and peace of mind in a wide range of marine environments.

Interior Crafting, Engine Installation & Finishing Touches
Skilled artisans transform the interior into a refined, luxurious space, where every element—from cabinetry to upholstery—is thoughtfully crafted for comfort and elegance. Powerful engines are expertly installed to deliver confident performance, ensuring the power catamaran lives up to its name on open water.
Final detailing brings the vessel to life, from precision paintwork and polishing to distinctive branding elements that complete its signature look.
At the center of the experience is an advanced command console designed around modern boating demands. An optional five-display dash redefines accessibility and functionality, featuring twin 24” Garmin displays, a dedicated 17” engine display, and two optional 16” Garmin screens. Paired with a triple-helm layout and aft mezzanine seating, the console delivers exceptional versatility, control, and comfort—whether cruising calmly or charting new horizons.

Quality Assurance, Testing, Optimization & Performance
Rigorous quality assurance protocols are followed by comprehensive sea trials, ensuring each vessel meets strict safety standards and performs with confidence under real-world conditions. Designed to withstand harsh sea environments, Kush Catamarans incorporates passive ventilation that reduces wetted surface area and improves fuel efficiency by approximately 10–15% when planning.

Virtual Tow Tank Testing

To further refine performance and stability, MVI employs advanced virtual tow tank testing. CAD models and operating conditions are analyzed through Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations conducted by a specialized Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) partner. Using a Volume of Fluid (VOF) method in combination with Dynamic Fluid Body Interaction (DFBI) modeling, free-surface behavior and vessel motion are accurately captured.

This process delivers both quantitative and qualitative insights, allowing designers to validate hydrodynamic performance and optimize the vessel beyond initial specifications. The resulting free-surface simulations and pressure distribution analyses illustrate Kush Catamaran's refined efficiency and stability.
